Nacido
en Esperanza. Argentina - Estudia en el Liceo de Arte de esa ciudad.
Becado por el Fondo Nacional de las Artes reside en Buenos Aires y trabaja
por dos años en el taller de Antonio Segui. En 1967 recibe una beca
del gobierno de la provincia de Santa Fe y visita Estados Unidos y México.
Vive en Londres en 1971 y en París en 1972. Fue uno de los artistas
seleccionados para participar en la 1° Exposición de pintura Argentina
en Hong Kong y en Beijing. Alguno de sus trabajos se encuentran en Museos,
Instituciones, Bancos y colecciones privadas.
Born
in Esperanza, Province of Santa Fe, Argentina, where he undertook his
first art studies in the Municipal Liceum of Fine Arts. Awarded a scholarship
by National Arts Fund of Buenos Aires, he worked for two years with
master Antonio Segui. He studied in London and Paris between 1970 and
1973. With a scholarship granted by the government of Santa Fe, he travelled
in the USA and Mexico. In 1989, 1990 and 1991, Borla was elected in
the jury of the 6th., 7th. and 8th. Children Drawing Competition organized
by Bayer, Buenos Aires. In 1991, Borla was one of the artists selected
to take part in the first exhibition of argentine painting in Hong Kong
and in Beijing. Some of Borla´s works are in institutions such as Institute
of Hispanic Culture, Madrid. Braniff Collection, Texas University Museum.
