Marizú Terza´s curriculum and critics opinion

Marizú Terza presented her first exposition of paintings in the Lirolay Gallerñy in 1975, since then she has exposed her work serveral times a year in pretigious galleries like Zurbaran, Tema, Jacques Martinez y Centro Cultural Recoleta, where she exposed her paintings in two ocasions. Simultaniously she presented her work in Bonn, Germany, Miami, USA and in the Gallery La Rose in Paris, France. In 1992 having realized how little space was dedicated to the plastic arts in the media of our country, she decided to create a TV show specially dedicated to the visual arts. For 10 years this show, "Come on Baby" was aired without interruptions through Cablevisiòn, achieving successfully her goal of showing what took place in gallerie, cultural centers, and museums of our city and of other countries. Since 2002 after having fulfilled this dream, she once more dedicated to her own pictoric work, enriched by all this experiences in the world of media and comunications.

To conquer art you must have a sword in your hand, so said Jean Dominique Ingres. Marizu Terza accepted this challenge and put it into practise. She can solve big spaces coming triumphant out of them. We have followed her work from the very beginning and always detected her serious purposes.As Picasso said; In art, works are loves. This means that in art the important thing is the result.And the cruelty of this path of creation es that many times even total dedication es not ernough to get the deserved results.That has not been Marizu Terza " s problem, she knew haow to wait for inspiration, always working, each year her work improved and this shjow confirms her talent, impossible of being unknowed from now on. Marizú Terza is a painter and a real painter,her poetic abstractions confirm this assertion. We welcome her to this journey and we remember her that every day will be more difficult because to conquer art is and endlesss fight.
