Norma
Villarreal. Argentinean artist.
Graduate
from Fine Arts National Schools “Manuel Belgrano” (1975) and “Prilydiano
Pueyrredón” (1979).
She improved in the workshops Anibal Carreño (drawing), Bernardo
Di Vruno (monotype), Alfredo De Vincenzo (engraving) and Andrea Juan
(Non-Toxic / Intaglio) and The Argentinean Photographic Center “photography
and Digital image”.
Expounded since 1989 in several Museums, Art Centers and Galleries
from Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Venezuela, Cuba, Ecuador, Peru, Panama,
Japan, Rumania, Lithuania and Spain, in individual and groups exhibitions.
Participated in official and private show rooms. Her works have been
rewarded in more than fifty opportunities and promoted by national
and international specializes publications.
She is and artist from the Spanish Gallery Catarsis. With this gallery
she participates in Estampa 2000/2001/2002 (Madrid), been the fourth
time that she is present in that engraving fair.
Called by the Japanese Reijin-Sha gallery, she participated in Tokyo
Fair (NICAF) and in the 7th and 8th Oasis Osaka Art Show International
Selection.
She is a teacher in her workshop, participates in juries, and is part
of the Organizing Committee of the I and II Argentinean Biennial of
Latin-American Graphics.
