Cristina Díaz paints out of her need to fix one moment; because one scene, nature, its fields and homes…..revive in her the creative spirit. From her pictures she intends to reach us with her own climate, conceptual thematic and aesthetic, that the observer must discover. Her art demands this intimate exercise of communication. |
Curriculum
Plastic Patagonian artist, she resides in Neuquén –Argentine-
Teacher of ceramics and sculpture, she devotes her time to naïf painting from 1985 and she has also realized numerous national and international exhibitions and different Christmas cards for several institutions of common good.
She is co-founder of the Friends of Art Naïf Association and member of the first Argentine Museum of Naïf Art –Esquel, Argentine-
She is also an active member of the Museum of Itinerant Artists of the Castroviera World –A.I.P.A.N. Naïfs Senza Frontiere, Crevalcore, Bologna, Italy-
