Attempting the approach to a work of art  is feeling summoned to define the meaning of our search. This search will always suggest the possibility of the adventure that necessarily implies an inner quest, a test on our sensibility.

What the artist displays is an expressive form of human feeling, and it is at this level, that Beatriz Pessagno´s work consitutes a subtle provocation to stir that nurturing participation within ourselves. Her means to accomplish this, a suggestive colour, a texture which grants a tactile sense to some of her paintings, and a composition whose  dynamic character builds an appreciation of movement which is purely pictorial, not physical or sequential, tackling a uniqueness in style that speaks of a  singular form of  expression that defends her.

We can also appreciate that her painting offers a portayal diversity which is born in her essentialist conception of work: there is no previous project, the painting is a vital event emerging from the synchronicity of doing and feeling, thus we can say that the painting simply “takes place”.

Venturing into her work implies the possibilty to open ourselves to the act of sharing, or even more, communing in the same terrain as the author´s feelings.

Curriculum

Inició sus estudios de pintura en el Taller de la Profesora Myriam Starkloof en Marzo de 2003, completando su formación con diversos maestros. En la actualidad concurre al Taller de Investigación Plástica de Heriberto Zorrilla y Helena Distéfano, fundadores del Movimiento Pictórico Esencialismo.
