She was born in Buenos Aires, where she lives and works. Graduated at the Fine Arts National School “Prilidiano Pueyrredón in sculpture and engraving, she also studied at the Fine Arts National School “Ernesto de la Cárcova” and she also has a Diplome de Hautes Études Francaises, Paris, 1974. She attended the workshops of Aurelio Macchi and Ramón Castejón and studied mural painting at the Fine Arts National School “Ernesto de la Cárcova”. She teached at the Women Council Library, Belgrano University and “Prilidiano Pueyrredón” School. Since 1984, she participated in solo and group exhibitions in our country. She found the cultural group “El aleph”, where celebrities of different disciplines meet once a month. She has received more than twenty awards, among others: “Salón de Otoño” San Fernando Sculpture Award, Argentine; Second Prize in Sculpture, Belgrano University, Buenos Aires; Second Prize in Sculpture, San Isidro Municipality, Buenos Aires. Her works are in important public and private collections of Argentina, Venezuela, Uruguay, Brazil, Canada, France, Israel and U.S.A. They are owned by: San Martín de Tours Church, Buenos Aires –Christ at the great altar- Contemporary Latin-American Museum Rally Foundation, Punta del Este, Uruguay “Huésped” Foundation, Buenos Aires Henry Moore Institute Argentine House in Jerusalem –Israel and New York- Germany, U.S.A. and Sweden Embassies UNESCO Permanent Exhibition, Paris Homage to Raoul Wallenberg, Germany |
